every time the thought of moving here hits me, i try hard to rationalize the situation by thinking about how difficult it is to actually uproot yourself from all that you know. the old adage that they always say in chinese about how trees with no roots will be the first to fall in strong winds, well.. it shakes me a little; make me dispose of all those ambitious plans...
