New Year's Eve

oh gee, it's been a while hasn't it? with my incessant updates to my twitter feed i think i have almost forgotten how to actually write about my life in prose (in more than 100 characters that is). sometimes i'm frighteningly convinced of how such conveniences or rather faux-conveniences will someday lead us all to live a life that is just much lesser than it ought to be. i should know, i sometimes feel like i live on the internet. ha. depressing talk for what should be a celebratory ushering of 2010 right!? it's not like i don't try to gather enthusiasm or my very meagre sociableness or whatever, but this year has been shit boring with a'levels and stuff and a whole lot of stress and sedentariness which happens to be a whole lot of crappy. gawd, this is really turning into some sort of funeral marking the death of 2009 isn't it?

well. i should really end the wallowing and negativity or however my ramblings should be categorized. 2009 is over and i must say i am glad because i made it through. and to start things off, i think i shd really start remarking on the brighter side of everything. every year i make an effort to make some resolutions and traditionally it has been an unbroken record of a decade of unaccomplishment. ha, no shit. i don't usually follow through, so my big dreams usually just evaporate into nothingness, you know... i think it happens to most people except for the really exceptional and disciplined ones but i bet everyone suffers a little on some scale to fulfill something. it's like when you're fat and you wanna lose weight, you gotta do something about the food you eat and the amount of exercise you do...you can't just sit there like a mountain. you know what i mean. it's some kind of compromise, in the way of sleep, calories, social time or whatever currency of exchange i bet nothing good comes out of nothing.

so in like three minutes the year is going to end and i only want three things for 2010. good health for everyone, for everyone to be happy and for people to start realising that if we want the world to change, we ourselves have to make that change first. so that's it. can't say 2009 was great for me, but i'm feeling great now! happy and calm and all. so let's keep it that way! happy new year, to all out there :)
