"Happy Lunar New Year!"
I used to find festivities like these somewhat of an overkill, but as I grow older, I find myself beginning to enjoy myself more and more. Each new year, is never the same as the one before it; new births, departures...we all grow up. Special occasions like these should never just be an observance in propriety. I find it especially endearing to lose myself in all the menial drudgery along the way in preparation, it gives meaning to all that celebrations that come after- to see the family coming together and enjoying the accompany of one another, that's what truly matters.
Always remembering to cherish and appreciate life as it is.
