Just want to share something I read off the net, which I thought sounded quite funny:
taken off here. Some comments from ex students I think who really wanted to let everyone know how much they love their school. Ha ha ha. Indeed.
Temasek Junior College - Uniform
The colour sucks! Unanimous agreement on the fact that the uniform of TJC sucks.
Unlike the emerald green & translucency of the TPJC uniform, which is quite pleasing to the eye, the green of TJC is of a duller, darker shade, resembling withered grass, and is fully opaque. Stand a whole bunch of TJCians together and u get a drying forest.
The cutting isn't too fantastic either, in fact, it's below average. But don't worry the school is very aware of this fact which is why they asked the 1999 & 2000 batch of students to provide suggestions to revamp the uniform, so hopefully it'll look better in the near future (HOPEFULLY).
The material is quite uncomfortable initially, but the more it's used, the more seasoned it gets, and it gets pretty comfortable by the end of a year, so comfortable some student's jog in it (don't ask why). Good thing is the uniform is well ventilated, never stuffy.
Skirts are A-line and pretty solid, almost no chance of zao geng, unless the girl sits in an inappropriate manner. If taken care of, stains can be removed. Cases of KMnO4 spills often end up with clean uniforms.

Temasek Junior College - Teachers
The teachers in TJ are generally kind and willing to help, with the exception of some witches and bitches. Watch out for Mr. Pang, famous lecturer of F.Maths. Totally insulting, too direct, not nice at all. Also tells of his past stories sometimes. Yet strangely these are what makes his lectures enjoyable to attend.
The chemistry department does not have a single tutor that knows how to lecture. Miss Wong, the ah-soh of the school, may be the kindest teacher in school, but her lectures suck. The way she speaks, seems as though she's trying to bite her words back, and she lectures with so much negative emotion, and shows it.
Mrs Lokman...oh god, we need to sleep. Dull, monotonous, and slow. LT1 cures insomnia with the often stuffy air that occurs during chemistry lectures due to the high attendance.
If u look across the LT, u can see very different people...some pay extreme attention (maybe to the fat ah-lian in front), many vigorously fan themselves, and even more are knocked out.
There's a gao xiao lecturer that speaks and behave like a kindergarten kid....her voice and words are just so kindergarten like you'll laugh just hearing her speak. Her lecture's often involve the use of IT and powerpoint presentations. Kindergarten cliparts are her essential tools.
And don't even hope for Andy Goh to give a decent lecture. Physics lecturers are great, though, the tutors serious, yet humorous, with the use of IT and AVA equipments at appropriate times, and all have great voices, which makes u wanna listen more.
GP lectures are fun except during post mortem, which tends to become real boring. They lecture on topics in year 1, and let u watch clips of CNN, BBC etc. The two most massive teachers of TJC, Mr Desker & Mr Bala, both belong to the G.P. dept.
For P.E., there's the infamous Mr Charles, who gives great verbal lashes at the boys, and is extremely friendly towards the girls. Pervert.
Excerpt from the web ends here.
I must say it was entertaining to read, but I don't really agree with the part about TPJC's uniform being nicer, seriously? And most of the teachers, I don't know them, probably not around anymore. Haha.
It's youth day already. Happy holidays everyone :)
It's time to enjoy some non-school time.
