yay. went out with zara today!!! we are as nuts as ever, i tell you. what an interesting day, i shall take some time to blog all about it...
so i met her at tanahmerah mrt station. but before that, the funniest thing had already happened to me on the bus. firstly, the busride was a turbulent one, kept jerking here and dere, forced me to grab onto one of those poles for support. it was when i was checking my reflection in the mirror before i realised there was something exerting pressure on my hand on the pole. then i turned to look and to my horror, it was this indian woman's breasts on top of my hands. my first impulse was then to shriek, but luckily for me, i had certain inherent social restraints that allowed me to remain relatively calm. before, i started snorting with laughter, amidst much effort to conceal it of course (; so we had a good time laughing at the encounter with the boobs of an indian woman, (im nt trying to be racist here, just as a matter of factly) then we went to the toilet to check our hair. okay, not her, just me. but well, i have grown accustomed to having constant checks on my coiff to make sure that it doesnt go out of place alright!!! (saying this at the risk of being classified a bimbo) hehe. the toilet stank by the way and i got a rude shock from this woman la. she was bending dwn to tie her shoelaces or something, then i thought it was a dog when i opened the door. so i slammed it immediately. went to the airport. spent about 45 minutes scouring for a STARBUCKS OUTLET. that zara saw yesterday, yes, im sure it didnt evaporate into thin air or something. nearly ate at popyes', it's SO expensive for fastfood okay!?! 15bucks for a plate of fried chicken isnt really what i call worth. so after scouring further for flight stewardesses and fruitless, dumb skytrain rides. we found ourselves in orchard road. haha, okay, i forgot to add that we got to orchard by mrt. not the skytrain (;
orchard was cool. we finally found something to eat at mos burger. wahaha! multiple helpings of food! had BOTH the strawberrymilkshake and the icedtea. how sinfully satisfying was that multiple helpings of junkfood that i was ingesting, it was only after how bloated i felt when i stepped out of there, that i realised it was probably going to take me...say 10 rounds around the TJC tracks to burn off THAT amount of calories. wahaha, CHERMAIN POON's calorie-counting disease sure found a host on me alright x) yuppps, so after eating went to kinokuniya. LOL. me being the super nice generous friend decided to buy her a birthday present. lol,i cant remember what was the last present i gave her, if im not wrong, was some dumb enid blyton book titled- the runaway bed. or something x) im so embarassed. so much for catastrophic gift ideas huh? oh, so wow in the pursuit and hunt for a gorgeous, functional organizer. many funny, interesting things happened eh? haha, as always. theres always ME there right? so how can interesting things dont happen?! well, she sneezed on the book okay. and it wasnt just a normal sneeze. she left a pretty disgusting amount of bodily fluids on the book cover on it...we were laughing like hell already alright!?! as if to make things even funnier, this caucasian lady heard us and saw what happened. that made it even funnier. haha. what an interesting day. it's always good to keep in touch with old friends from the past, so that we do not forget who we once were. reminiscing and all, haha. it's pretty fun! oh and i love the stories as well...new people you hear of each day just adds a whole lot of brilliance into ur bland life.
in my opinion, teenagers should be contented with spending just like what the normal teenagers do. clubbing, miumiu, prada, chanel, balenciaga, birkins, cult jeans, drinking chivas, are NOT what a teenager is supposed to do/buy. hurhur. rich people are everywhere? it's their attitudes that really determine whether they are a firstclass richie or a lowclass fortunate whore living on daddy's fortune. ohgawd, just imagine the number of Afghan families you can feed with that money you spend on your pathetic bag? sighhh. the paradox of life, its really NEVER EVER FAIR TO BEGIN WITH.
something random. the butterfly effect. became really interested in it after catching this advertisement on channelnewsasia, something that roughly goes like- when a butterfly flaps its wings in your backyard, a earthquake is happening somewhere else. haha, i was mesmerized by its appeal? well, dont ask me what appeal, i dont know? it just appealed to me. so i did a read up on it and i found it to be truly fascinating as well. i wonder what made the person that investigate these stuff to substantiate such a theory. wellwell, theory of substance indeed. =) i love nationalgeographic, discovery and discoverytravel channels. they have just replaced my MTV and definitely mythbusters have overtook lagunabeach in my life. oh, how nice, i think im entering some sort of new phase in life.
NERD, maybe?
i hope never x)
