sighsigh. i passed the stupid biology test, even though the score really isnt up to the benchmark yet, its really what i would call a i-deserve-it grade. a pathetic B4. i merely flipped through the book in the morning and i acty got a B. damn, i probably would have gotten an A if i managd to study the day before. rarrgh =/

today was pretty smooth i would say, nothing much, pretty slack. first period was chemistry, learnt about salts. it's kind of hard to understand, but im getting it...slowly =x ahaha, then it was english, had it at the com lab, super slack lar! goodness, jimmy chin. what has it got to do in helping us score As for our english. teacher, u gotta try harder than just plagarize off lesson plans off the web. we are secondary school students, not pre-school babies, we KNOW IT WHEN YOU DO IT. its just not helping us at all, alright? had SEL lesson after that. i LOVE SEL lessons with mr ong eng kiat. omg, hes just so freaking hilarious i think he is qualified to host a one-man talk show. yeahyeah, maybe one day he'll be as famous as oprahwinfrey xD hahaha! racial harmony with a teacher who doesnt really live harmoniously. middle finger showing (inside joke) =]

i dont like the attention that im getting with my new specs. people look at me weirdly, i know its kind of weird looking, but well...its durable! the specs are supposedly very tough and wont break easily =D mrs chuah said something today during math lesson that i found wrong. she said " we teachers dont owe u guys a living" i thought that was pretty ironic cos in actual fact, yes, you do. if we dont study, we dont school, you guys have no jobs! so yeah, you guys do owe us a lving, be nice! =/ remedial was pretty okay. so i failed my second a.maths test. gotta buck up! i cant be failing all my tests, or i'll have to be barred frm CCA =x

step 1: dissolving zinc powder in dilute suphuric acid in a beaker. dissolve zinc poweder in excess.
step 2: filter to remove excess zinc powder.
step 3: heat the filtrate to concentrate the salt solution.
step 4: allow the filtrate to cool and crystallise when it's saturated.
step 5: filter to remove the crystals. wash the crystals with distilled water to remove impurities.
step 6: dry the crystals with a few sheets of filter paper.
