STUPID BLOGGER, IS THREATENING ME! HURHURH. ARGHHHHH.
yeah. whatever, forget abt the blogger thing.
in life, many things are really overrated, for example, blogger, the tammy video, adriano, chicken little and friendster. here's another to add to this list: "singapore polytechnic's campfire" sighs. im so disappointed. i really did expect it to be more entertaining and at the very least, BEARABLE. however, im really sad to say that this campfire sucks to the core. it's UNBEARABLY boring and disorganized and confusing and RUDE. yeah. first, to start with, they have a TERRIBLE emcee who speaks in the most monotone voice i've ever heard in my entire life and who tries so hard to be entertaining and ended up being successful entertaining herself =x next, the excellent public address (PA) system of the school. wow, im surprised that the students of the poly dont understand the simple logic of the further the source of sound from the ear, the softer it would sound, and in this case, with the speakers positioned a 200m distance away from where we were sitting, EVERYTHING that the emcee were saying sounded like an unaudible whisper that we got so irritated trying to decipher what the heck on earth was she saying lar! IRRITANT! bleah. next, they sang "pass it on" at the beginning of the campfire, like since when did scouts and guides ever sing "pass it on" at the beginning of a campfire!?! isnt it supposed to be at the end? arrgh. next, was the "OH! I-LOST-MY-PHONE incident" so wth lar. so what if u lost ur phone, must u involve the whole campfire crowd forcing them to form search squads to search for ur phone? why must we be the one paying when u shld suffer the consequence of a dropped phone that u deserve for ur iresponsibility!?! arrgh. disgusting, and im nt saying this just because it isnt my phone. i dare say, if i was the one who lost my phone, i would DEFINITELY not cause such a chaotic situation. lastly, was the disgusting dont-know-what person who came to ask us to shutup. since when were guests asked to shut up, not to mention at a campfire lar! bleah, so what if the scouts are guai and quiet!?! it's a campfire, not some stupid cuckoo library lar, whats with the stereotyping anw...must all guides be quieter than scouts?!! and also...during the games...they called us CHILDREN. i emphasize CHILDREN, dont they realise that the term CHILDREN refers to people between the ages of "0 to 12" we are all in secondary schools and that place us in the teenagers category. arent they even the less intelligent to know that!?! i even overheard a guider, or a teacher whatever...said " this is the worse campfire, EVER." see, this summarizes about the campfire. a period of nonchalance when asked to be enthusiastic, never in my whole have i ever had to sit through such a terribly boring campfire. sighs, im so utterly disappointed. luckily, the busdriver came "early" and rescued us from our unfortune. heng ar! because us, being considerate young girls...we decided nt to waste the uncle's precious time and left early! yayys to the uncle! savior! hahaha.
went to macs afterwards. the whole bunch of us, we were so high after that...hahaha, after the campfire, indeed. lol. so we ate and chatted and bleah, i looked out of the window and i saw this really old ah-ma outside, squatting next to a pushcart, my first reaction was to scream, bleah. so paiseh. but after that i realize that she was quite worldly indeed,i realized, how poor thing she was. such an elderly at such a time, outside. i dont know why, but i pity her...i felt so sympathetic at her plight, i wld definitely have bought her a meal if my pocket permitted. bleah. how can her children abandon her!?! sighs. what an ugly world this is, no matter how much i hate my parents, im sure i wld definitely have forsake all material gains in the world to allow them to lead a comfortable life. im not filial or anything, i just feel that as their offspiring, we are like obligated to comply to their requests and be dutiful and obedient. im so appalled, how much of the world have i not seen and how much of the sheltered world we are living in is the actual real world?" sighhhs. i wish i can change all this.
anw, i had a hair cut today. my fringe is almost gone and i feel so insecure without my fringe. arrgh. u see, i have this terrible habit of fiddling and adjusting my fringe when im nervous or when im bored, now i cant feel it anymore! arrgh, and i used to be able to see my fringe in my eyes, now i cant see them anymore! so insecure lar...lol, so i have to keep pressing against my forehead to check if i still have fringe =x
currently waiting for my hair to dry so i can go slp! im tired. *yawns*
